The production was a large-scale cultural and military spectacular using twelve 6kw rotating double scroller PIGI projectors directed onto both a ground cloth, and a large flag held aloft by 1000 participants. The shallow projection angle (just 24 degrees below the horizon line) called for extreme distortion correction and accurate projector positioning to produce an image area of 70m x 70m (210? x 210?) All photographic and graphic imagery including kinetic and rotational effects were created in Sydney, Australia.
